Hollow Heart

I emptied out into a bowl
The inner makings of my soul
And now with hollow heart I sit
Amongst my thoughts and now remit
That I am all that I can be
And with it hope that you can see
That life is full of twists and turns
Sometimes it’s sweet sometimes it burns
But in the end all that is safe
Is that which we don’t hide away
Revealed  to you all that I fear
And knowing your no longer near
To knowing who you are

I couldn't sleep either...

Another introspective write--you must be practicing the art of scrying as you stare into that bowl.

Lovely visions you have shared.
