We Three Kings

This great star called us away from home,
away from comfort
to find the light of God.

And so also was he called,

by the suffering of man,
away from home and comfort
to be the light of this world.

We brought him gold,
frankincense and myrrh.

He brought us love
and life forever.

So let us sing of glory,
and of his birth,

and of the light

that brings us home.

Amen

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Nan,
I really like this. So it seems you have a theological bent, no?

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Thanks so much, guys.  I write very little about my beliefs and faith, but this time of year I think it's appropriate.  I so appreciate your attention and your comments.
