Still Knocking I knocked a dreamer’s door last night To open up and show the light To see the making of the dawn And dew drops of the early morn I would to learn the magic spell This duo place in which I dwell To join the spirit of the wield To know the powers flowers field To shed this cloak of many churn And live a simple flowers turn To face the early and the late To bend my head and face my fate Confusion is a state of awe That makes you knock on every door Although the fifer plays a waltz It really is chameleon false One day I’ll knock a silent door And stay in silence evermore |
