There was a man drifting away in the ocean!

The thunder rolled!

The lightning lit up the sky!

The waves rushed in!

He thought to himself,

"OH MY LORD, THIS TIME I'M REALLY GOING TO DIE!"

He reflected on his life,

and all the decisions he had made!

He thought about his family,

and how he might not be around to see them

another day!

He thought about his wife,

and how she prayed for him to accept

JESUS into his heart!

He wondered if by accepting HIM NOW,

JESUS might forgive him,

and give him a brand new start!

Right there in the boat,

the man fell to his knees!

He asked for forgiveness for all of his sins!

"LORD, I PROMISE YOU,

IF YOU GET ME OUT OF THIS TERRIBLE SITUATION,

I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD OF ME AGAIN!"

Just then, the rain stopped,

and the clouds lifted!

Right in front of the man stood a LIGHTHOUSE!

THE LORD had lit up his way!

HE KNEW HE WAS FORGIVEN!
