I often look at the skin of trees
at the edge of our eden place
the one we built separately
alone together some other monday

we were children minds dancing
playing hand in hand in sand
helpless we were bound to love
loveing to be bound helpless

and then our bodies knew fear
the what if of not knowing
the other better than ourselves
so we traded our skins and saliva

it was never routine but often
like it had to happen more
like the skin of trees we needed
more than we could ever want to

and wanted more than we could ever need

D, enjoyed this especially:
helpless we were bound to love
loveing to be bound helpless

nicely written my friend...really like the "newness" in the wording.
