Love, Your Heart

My love was your heart,
my being was all you could touch.
This spirit of multitude,
a spirit to share, my spirit of wear.

Clothing to hand out, clothing to tear,
the rip in my heart, this wanting you near.
My soul distressed, in such desire,
my eyes moist, to shed a gentle tear.

To love you, like no one ever before,
this love in affection of a love made true.
My love, your love, our love,
to that day we make each moment new.

Another day, morning to night,
sleeping peacefully, what a delight.
Our children to nurture, or nature to run,
loving you, and together in this world as one
