They think me old as they pass by
For it was hard not to see
My hand shaking painfully
Tryig to hold a cup of tea
They think me old as they go by
The fruit of nature's tyranny
But then...they do not know me

I was youth in all its glory
Merrily going along
Dancing my way through life
Following the Piper's song
Living life to the fullest
Eager to greet each day
Wondering what great adventure
I would encounter along the way
I delighted in the butterfly
The sunrise at early morn
The miracle of life
As each new chld was born

The pages of the calendar
Proclaim the passing years
And my days are quickly dwindling
Through this earthly vale of tears
But the sunrise still enchants me
The butterfly flutters near
I greet each day with wonder
Thanking the Lord that I'm still here
My heart still leaps with joy
When I hear the Piper's song
Wondering where it would lead me
If I could go along

They call me old as they pass by
But oh...if they could see
The youthful heart inside me
Ah...there's the irony!

   Milady Beatrice... Excellent Write.

Like a fine wine...   Mature the berry...  Sweeter the fruit...
Tantelizes the palet and tickels the tongue.... slakes not the thirst, but evokes promises of all the more.

         My choice is vintage.

Beatrice,
Our mind is the magician of the call
And you are the princess of the ball.
Excellent write.
