In a state of disrepair...

How to explain?
How to be verbose
in the face of your most
eloquent denial?

You are the apparition
of perfection itself
a picture of perfect youth
framed by fragility.

Serene smoke rings
frame you like a queen
with ghostly dreams
that sing so silently

And still too young
To know you're a sun
One born and not made
A creative heat wave

A gravitational pull
that leaves a man a fool
A lesson and a school
Already full of rule

Obsessions dream
Or so it seems
What do you know
when you summon snow
to the mind of the low?

"The world won't end in darkness, it'll end in family fun
With Coca Cola clouds behind a Big Mac sun."

One God by The Beautiful South

Nicely written piece.
Much enjoyed.
