Walking through the deserts of golden sands
Where a blazing sun blinds the eye,
Seeing the mirages of a savior, and the shadows of god,
Shouting, crying to the air, the sky above;
Praying for my tears to flow and carry me into salvation.

God, let me sound so graceful as to touch you.
Let my spirit melt into the taste of wine to please your pallet,
My sorrow and terror, my sanctification;
Blessings to your love, and just hand of joy and bereavement;
Just hands that build your temple of my soul.

I am but a grain of sand, if I sting your skin,
If I pain your eye, or enter your lungs,
You will love me for such transgression.

Praise god, the beauty of the sun on stagnant waters;
The sounds of the wind upon his sapphire jewel,
The golden sands of the dunes that wave as the oceans,
The scorpions’ sting that poisons the faithless heart,
All life that covers purity and indignation.

Lets I die in this desert, where my tears are dry upon their falling;
Take me god, into the paradise of your country.
Let me be the flowers blossom, new to life as once to die,
For I once was the child of your creation.
I will not hope to change the current of your rivers.

I am the two-toed wanderer
