When Love was Reality

15 December 2006

When love was one heart
and you were all to hold.
The medal, the Nobel prize,
the golden ring to finger wear.

Your beauty a salvation,
an almighty understanding to behold.
For without you, the glass was half full,
yet with you, there was light to bleed.

A blood not unified until now,
however still awaiting purity to reign.
This fortune of your being,
a lantern and candle to burn.

Sweetness, the savour of amour,
my heart and your insight to touch.
One God, one of goodness to proclaim,
this destination, a tranquil bliss to partake.

"For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom;
to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;"
1 Corinthians 12: 8 KJV
