Peaceful at Last!

The mists of early morning cover the mountianside, the birds all
are stirring you can hear their morning prayers.
The sun is slowly rising a brandnew day is born, the water from
the mountian stream sparkles in the early morning light.
Stars are slowly fading as midnight turns to light blue, the
peaceful quiet of the night is disturbed as the world awakes.
Excitement stirs the air,up through the trees a redtailed hawk
flies searching for his morning meal,a smal grey dove explodes from
cover trying in panic to get away.
A doe steps into the meadow white tail in the air, behind the tall
grass a fawn is hidden waiting for the signal all is clear.
Squirrels chase each other up and down the trees, suddenly all
freeze as the wolfs call goes searching for his mate.
Rabbits bring their families to a clover patch, the beavers start
working as if today will be the last, did you hear the otter splash?
All is as it should be in a world brought now to peace, all the
ugly shadows have sailed away at last, but where are the sons of man?

Your beautiful use of imagery
took me to a place of serenity.
A very lovely write..
the ending leaving much to ponder.

Well done..well done indeed.

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

Sigi Enchantress,it is my heartfelt hope we will all think hard and well of what is it we lose if we do not make within the changes needed by our Mother Earth!
my loving thanks and many blessings!

The sons of man have wandered far away.
If only there is time for them to wend their way home.
And who will show them the way?

O'siyo S. Arthur Gray,it is the same path since time began it is simply for the sons to remember it is the lifegiver/wisdom keeper who holds the key to that path!Until that day returns my brother, respect is a dead word!

Sigi my Lady sister, there is a fear within as I see Prophecies fullfilled daily, that none will awaken to see it is we who must make the changes!

You have painted such a lovely, true side of nature and its gifts to those who see, like you...and also me.

Siyo Interloper very wise, yes, but sad to think it might be so, that we have not yet learned to value all things and add to the beauty instead of distroy it,eh?
