It rains

in self interpretation

though it plays
in every language

multilingual,and cultural
signing in keys of
both Christ and Messiah

it rains

a calypso of cummulus

a banquet of butterflies

from beyond the same curtain
where the comet of haley
has yet to to reveal itself

it rains

a pink panorama

littering lawns
with wet faces

alliteration,

run on sentences
commas, apostrophies

redundant
this rain is

it is , it is

IT RAINS

in the rhyme time of poetry

and in the refinery
of both prose and formality

it rains

over cloverdale

cliffside

and mountainhead

bursting with watercolors

stains on the silos

remorse
of the fallen ones

and purity
of those
still in utero

it rains

in the background

mostly in freeverse

as i cling
acrobatically

to the threads
of its trapeze.

I admit it was a hard font to read, but well worth the effort.  I love the ending, the way you cling to the trapeze.  And the purity of those in utero,  that made me reflect on how soon purity is lost.  Excellent.

This read as a shower upon the mind Michelle.
Drop by drop, leaving thoughts to linger on.
Enjoyed.
