people messing with my mind one or two many crowding me I got out of town went where the air cost too much to breathe high end shops hotsy totsy folk in scarves haughty stepping designer dogs music on the streets soothing savage breasts and oh mine was savage damn fine cajun food at lucille’s fried green tomatoes in the middle of winter red pepper cream sauce robert johnson growlin’ gonna shoot my pistol gonna shoot my gatlin gun law… that’s just the mood I was in too one or two many crowding me on the porch sweet cigar smoke cohiba pushed you into my almost clear thoughts turned slowly in the elegant air man next to me asked do you mind? gave him my high end smile please enjoy that cigar smoker’s the only one I want to mess with my mind |

sigh... y'had to mention cajun food AND Robert Johnson in the same stanza? Now just who is messin' wif whose mind, eh, Lady?  I'm achin' for a Mississippi Delta trip too--juke joints, red clay road and who knows? I wanna hit the crossroads and see if I can trade my soul in for RJ's.  Messin' with your mind? Not I...mine is enough of a mess!  enjoyed, Lady! |

ah...what a feeling where the air costs too much to breathe...I've been there myself...ends up killing a person after awhile I think |

ahhh Roniece you’ve had this experience too thank you serenity in my mind Robert Johnson and Cajun food are partners in yours too I see mind what you do at the crossroads you know what happened to Mr. Johnson thank you and take me to the Delta with you law… I need to go Stranger darlin’ you know how much you mess with my mind smoke them cigars too ummm hmmmm I love me some ka-jon wood thank you yes indeed Dixie nice place to visit but don’t stay Interloper I ‘blieve I saw it let me look real quick thank you for coming along LeeJ thank you so much Kacy ‘deed I do hate folk crowding my space |
