The Healing Force of Nature
~ Linda L. Dowd ~

The pearlescent sheen upon the newly fallen snow,
Lights the winter morning in an opalescent glow.

Snowflakes dance and shimmer in the bright December sun.
~ Cascading thru’ the Wedgewood blue, as a new day has begun.

A peacefulness befalls me as I witness tranquil scene.
~ Replacing my disquietude with feelings so serene.

Deeply I inhale the revitalizing air.
~ Releasing negativity and notions of despair.

Nature is a healing Force. ~ Be it land, sea, or sky.
Blessing us with beauty from our birth until we die.

“We are borne of star dust,
and to the stars we shall one day return.”
~ Linda L. Dowd

That's a beautiful picture.  And about half-way through your poem I found myself taking a deep breath, trying to smell the snow.  Which is silly here in the office with it 60 degrees outside, but I guess that shows how good the poem is.

This is some mighty powerful poetry EA!!
Love these two verses.
Beautifully composed by a beautiful spirit.

Arctic Wind ~

lol Yes, you've missed a few of them! It would take a month of Sundays for you to read them all! I have posted around 1,300 of them! ~ But you certainly are well on your way from the number that you have already read!

btw, I noticed that you have a fair number of your own poems gracing these blue pages!

Loves 'n hugs,
EA
