When Eve First appeared upon the world Nothing including Adam Knew what to do or say It wasn’t a garden then Much rather a zoo In which all being at best Little more than animal Merely existed to consume It was her gaze That changed the view Those eyes which held a secret To this day as ever not yet told And yet However difficult It’s been at times There are none even now Who wish or want To go back to the way it was Before man discovered love . |
