Would it be honest of me to sit here and lift you up Boost your ego and tell you Iam interested when truely Iam not Is it in your best interest to spit back at me because we don't click? Simple as it may be just move on to the next chic Maybe she is everything you want me to be and more Out of niceness I tend to respond back But don't for once think you have me on the right track As the tide comes in and the sun goes down Im not just your ordinary woman looking for a nice smile I don't need charm and uplifting to impress me Just a good man who knows what he wants that can lead me By taking my hand and showing me a new way of thinking A new way of life by the uniqueness of his character Showing me originality over common portrayers Then and only then will my heart respond For as a girl I learned from my many mistakes Taking whatever comes my way and thinking it is fate Forever that is of my past but no more will I look at only one This world is of many liars and cheats ready to prounce So don't for a minute think you are the only one Trust me when I say this you arent my only sweety Nothing you say is any different then the others So don't let it be a surprise if I don't want you after the first night I do not need shine or wealth, just a pen and some paper for my health |
