Winter’s Daisy Chain

flowers of my time
I pick petal days
not of he loves me
nor he loves me not
more of blossoms
moments of here
and of the thorns
of when he is not
looking out chilled panes
winter winds have come
the gray ballet starts
of leaves somersaulting
escaping invisible forces
that rolls beneath them
across a barren ground
but inside I am warm
holding pressed petals
tightly in my heart

“all romantics meet the same fate”…Joni Mitchell

Helen,
I truly adore how your mind thinks. This piece just rocks. Thanks.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

this reminded me of one of those pirhouetting leaves, falling...

a lovely dance it is, but I doubt seriously anything you can do would NOT be lovely.

(and yes'm--yer other read is on my morning reading list--coffee and prose, k?)

Much love to you my sister love!

"passionnément, à la folie,"
passionately, madly...

the rest of the expression was more befitting of you in French.

Daisies always have a way. Lovely you.

I like the picture of you looking out the window, holding the pressed petals of love.

Nicely done.
