my vases weren't so fragile
and the demons woke
to the sounds of angels
knowing that my prince
had faired well on his journey

and you bent me
ruined me again
when you found
that I was already torn

you chose your wife
and your lovers
so carefully
then told me
that it is never too late
and that it is time
to meet my destiny
out of my fate
