Rewrite:

The Exchange

You knew from the very start
My purse in pay would be my heart
And spent it all within a day
A smitten lover in a way

You smiled at me a part flew out
You winked at me another sprout
And then you asked to take my arm
And the purse went down in alarm

You walked with me and talked with me
And said you thought allot of me
And the purse just fizzled flat
And that was the end of that

Then you asked me for a kiss
My purse turned inside out for this
I fell in love right then and there
Never a doubt never a care

And with the actions of a dove
You filled my purse and life with love

Sy...I think I have a purse like that...it's heavy but I carry it around all the time anyway.

Cute and touching at the same time.

It's nice to see a man not afraid of showing his emotions...Would that all men were poets!

Sy,
I love taking lessons from a sage. You just rock!

"And the purse just fizzled flat
And that was the end of that"

And you crack me up! Here I thought you knew everything.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
