Pastures

Into the sea of measureless
Flies a kiss o’er the abyss
To sail the future like a dove
And billow the sails of my love

It pales the dark of heavy clouds
And lifts the weight of shriven shrouds
It stows the blight of smoky gray
And hoes the light of joy and gay

Strata’s the mist of coming dawn
Crystals the hews of early morn
Twills the blue to gold of day
And sweeps the cobwebs that may stay

It guides you in the circles fare
Back in my arms just waiting there
And lures you like an angels harp
With out a flat without a sharp

To end you’re ever searching goal
Into the pastures of my soul

As usual, well done, Sy

I loved this poem; where do you want me to start? I like the imagination that you captured. Nice write

Crystals the hews of early morn
Twills the blue to gold of day
And sweeps the cobwebs that may stay
