                   "Gentle Spirit"

            Gentle Spirit,
                heart of my heart,
                    illusive though it seems;

            Linger Angel,
                now from the start,
                    come softly to my dreams.

            Embrace warmly,
                hold so tender,
                    forever do I pray.

            Lovely sweet one,
                heart surrender,
I beg of you please stay.

            Loved Beloved,
                join together,
                    souls that rise and soar.

            Cherished Soulmate,
                in full measure,
                    entwined forever more.

Oh this is such lovely writing and of course that title made me smile.  Very nicely penned, sir.

Well written and rymed too, but the subject is always the best section of the poem and here it is love that rises above all, enjoyed..thank you..

Thank you James and RDB.

Passing Shadows.. Thank you for passing by and reading.

Angel.. feel free to use and soothe your soul, anytime, Milady.

Goldenrose.. (lovely  name) thank you for the read and comment.

Ms Beatrice.. glad you liked the music of the muse. I tend to try to weave the music and rhythm into the dream, with varying levels of success.

I appreciate the comments as they are ever encouraging... My soul basks in the radiant glow and is warmed as well.
