Sentiments Of Snow

Heaven sends a soft announcement down
Frosted blossoms muffle clamor soon to drown
Each frozen tear unique for every weary soul
The earth responds content, as silence is the goal
Thankful to be cooled in drifts serene

The spirit of reflection sent in winter gleam
Layer upon layer, quiets anxious din to lull
Skies of gray light sighs infer emotions quizzical
Hushed beneath a mighty hand of white
Sentimental wings pine shelter without flight

Let fall, the quiet of recall, to say a season’s rite
Attuned, the gifted ear has learned the silent spell
Overlooking virgin dictate, fine and powdered vale
Impressions of the robes of clouds now scattered fro
Heaven sends a prayer to light in sentiments of snow

I wouldnt change 1 single word on this poem. Easy reading for the humblest mind.

Poetry is just the evidence of life.

If, by chance...   you ever need a weather
report for the UP NORTH...  read one of Kay's
poems...  so descriptive, easy to read...
a joy to absorb, even on a day that is dreary, wet and semi-warm..(here)...HEHE

fine 'write' (as per usual!!)

reminds me of Henry David Thoreau's ability to speak with the 'Voice' of Nature...
and the fact that he was the 'grand master' of closing lines.... like the magnificent
example in this poem:

"Heaven sends a prayer to light in sentiments of snow"

I'm impressed!!!

Your writing my mind again....this was perfection...and most definately shows an allowance within you which is a great gift...inspirational song of light in the realization, expectation is merely a word, and not a practice...for each and every moment in our lives certainly owns their own light....

Hugs you...
