Pour; pour your heart, its blood inside;
A sifting beat, she batters roughly, taking not
Your true affections.
Sing; sing cadences to ears unwinding,
She hears but only trite reflections of her beauty.
Cry; cry tears of sadness for her passing,
She shall drink them, her thirst un-quenching.
Love; love with all your souls content,
For her heart is made for leeching--
As she doth squirm for affections.
So you must roll your eyes; roll them boldly,
Divert their stair for she is rotten;
Her seeds bare no fruitful beauty,
Her flavor tastes a poisonous sour,
And woe, she doth dare your biting.

I am the two-toed wanderer
