Skeleton branches

      against an aging sky

             shivering

                    in the wind

                          as November waves

                                  Good-bye~

Lovely, Nancy, but isn't it nice to know that November will come again?  I, myself, don't "do" goodbyes very well - just one of the things that I absolutely do not like.

And, on this day, as November goes on by, it is freezing. Will be down to 24 degrees tonight. Not sure what it will be tomorrow morning, when I have to leave for work at 6:30 or 7 a.m.

to me...this is a most fine 'write'.......
grand imagery....

I find it 'interesting' though, how just one word variance could 'change everything'...... I would likely have used the word 'angry' instead of 'aging' as a descriptor of 'Nov. skies'...ergo, then....I could just 'visualize' exactly such chilling and forlorn skies hangin' over the scene where I wrote of

withered leaves and
broken promises
blowing down dirty
November streets
stained with discontent....etc.

dearest 'spirits that be'.....aren't words grand fun to play with?!
