who wears these chains of ice
who wraps the willows in iron
and makes them bow to earth

what voice is that of winter
that speaks to the sun
and moves her from her halo

who strums the dirge’s psalms
and puts nipples on the oceans
then freezes them to razors

to cut the throats of skys
when they lean to offer love
but bleed their storms instead

who is this in december's melancholy

Well, there's that picture, too...

You should be here...

60 would be considered just warmin' up...

Great visions and great poetic performance! ... but 60 means just 16 Celsius and so California and Central Italy enjoy the same nice weather ...

You still can take a bath! brrrrrrrrrr

Love,
Margherita

I don't do Winter well, but I'm thinking you keep writing like this and I might just succumb!   loved this!

Be well
