After
All this time.

words not of my ken
no matter
    
this love does not depend upon stars
dancing
words I understand
smoke and mirrors
trick ponies
roses from the corner store

this love is from before words
before winds blew ships aground
before snow covered ends of the world
before old men sat muttering in corners
and young girls tripped about
with covered faces
kohl lined eyes

this love stands alone
a third entity
complete
