gata say she knows the perry girl
they do early tea time some newsdays
rolling steel down the edge's sides
making their intention's indention

to mosey shoe down to the hollytown
at the cathedral without a god
where the metal women wear their armor
as tan tin candy with the shimmerease

they bend their iron for the eye guys
that pretend they have lucky pockets
with magic islands behind the lens
waiting for lady messiahs to blind them

it's more the dance than the music
goddesses were at moments mortal then
when the dice rolled politicians
painted on dots of eights and elevens

and a pair of edges were a pair of ones
_______________

ms jul..thanks ms...as for the dance, it is the constant motion, remaining as part of the wind.

But what if we were to study
the music, for no other reason
than to find the heartbeat?

What then, of the dance?

Would we stop, and count the beats
until our feet couldn't do anything
but clip along
in frenzy?

You always make one feel, DS.

Thank heavens for that...

I have been to this
very cathedral without a god
lot of nice dancing going on there

the priest is nice too
he needs no music

I sure liked those lines, and shimmerease just has the coolest image in my mind.
