Born To Simply Joy

My head, softly between the velvet knees of trembling now
I am moved, beyond words or descriptive terms
Such determination pushing forth in vigorous expression

Subliminal incantations give direction, to bring your body near
Sighs my mind explores, rippling regions of vast encores
Where I am fit, by shape and purpose into elegant repose

As if you are water, soaking into me, by heart such radiant touch
Alluring storms that mimic creation, jagged and breathless
Mold me to the thunder of speechless extravagance and wonder

Unbound by terms of mortal man, deft clinical curb of contraband
Simply moving and moved to be all as I was born to be
Held gently to your heartbeat, in the carving of this love, a simple treat

As was born to simply joy

Well, after Magnus gets through stuttering,
he'll come back with another comment, I'm sure.

As for me?  I simply enjoyed.

TD,
I liked the mix of this, strength, sensitivity, and sensual! As per usual, I enjoy the way your choice of words and sounds move the poem.

  A pleasure to read

Simply excellent!  Perhaps the best I have had the most pleasant opportunity to read from this fine poet.  This is another case where single lines and couplets are almost poems in and of themselves...such as:

"Where I am fit, by shape and purpose into elegant repose"....or:

"Alluring storms that mimic creation,
   jagged and breathless
Mold me to the thunder of speechless
   extravagance and wonder"

MUCH applause!

"Simply moving and moved to be all as I was born to be"

What a beautiful write.
