Wisp of Breath
25 November 2006

A century was time,
one hundred to amour.
Your heartbeat, a breath,
ever closer, happiness to adore.

In looking upon your stature in unified strength,
where beauty, was a canvas enhanced.
The artists brush, the photographers eye,
an unjust beginning, to the prose of your encounter.

Your nose, your lips, your eyes of emerald green,
those knights in daze of your true grit in spirit.
No one could capture such admiration,
but perhaps a poet could within words unspoken.

Onward and forthright, righteous to proclaim,
an objective, like a mountain air to savour.
Your scent, a wisp upon the wind,
ever feeling, ever touching,
deep within your breast.

"Yet through the scent of water it will bud,
and bring forth boughs like a plant."
Job 14: 9 KJV
