Laughter of Children

24 November 2006

My heart was but one thought,
the laughter of children.
A moment to in future ponder,
of her love, and my love.
An imagination forth to await.

Every day in prayer, a life, a romance,
praying and wishing she was right there.
A mother and child, this mother to be,
was she real, would emerald eyes I do see.

Dear God, oh I hear this laughter, distant,
moving closer, a heartbeat toward happiness.
Parenthood, a husband and father, gifted in kind,
this sweetheart, her preciousness, awaiting in find.

One more day closer, then yesterday was gone,
now from this day of birth, tomorrow brings hope.
An entangled desire, manufactured into a net,
heavens interrelation, of her and him,
a togetherness, like no other in element of forget

“Behold, ye are all children of Israel;
give here your advice and counsel.”
Judges 20: 7 KJV
