Forever In Your Heart

The passion ran through my veins,
by the words you spoke into existance,
a fire with amber flames still remains,
Love knocking, beating, fates persistance.

Tho' time has moved on to another place,
time is memories I hold dear to heart,
precious moments alive, as I see your face,
Love new has come again, now we are apart.

Feelings never die, alive and beating still,
as long as I breathe my last breath,
My head and heart has its own will,
Love finds a way, Forever yours till death.

For souls never die, eternal is their life,
joined together they are, by fates claim,
angels answer prayers unaware,
eternitys love still remains, unfurled,
unchanged.

Beating forever, red vermillion flames,
glowing through the darkest of night,
a shining light in the window awaits,
for when you return home, and open the gates.

J. M. Barrie, the playwright, may have said it best when he wrote, “God gave us memories so that we might have roses in December.”
