Laugh With The Children!

In the long and long ago grandmothers taught the little ones the
aunties would help too,no young mother left alone to face the new and
unknown.
Every child born knew they were wanted, loved, and needed, they are
the future of their peoples to any person they could go for any of
their troubles.
Aunties,Uncles,Grandfathers too take the time to help and
teach,it is true every child is a blessing without them we are
nothing.
As we watch our children grow we learn with them each new
lesson, through their eyes we see again our duty to Mother Earth and
all our kin.
We relearn how to be humble before Creator show respect and how
to pray,we learn again the value of laughter and taking time to play.
Day to day we all face stresses all the troubles of our world,if
we take time to see these things through the eyes of our children
many seem to fade away.
And so my people take the time to see life through a childs
eyes,be there to teach but also learn they offer so much toward the
path of peace.
Gather the children for the stories give them a reason to be
proud, help them see color is not important in being who and what you
are or see!

Punctuation would help alot in a readers comprehension of these lins. other than that, i say i agree and i say this reminds me of ancient times, happier times.

Sigi brother I will remember, though I am not so sure of where some go you see? As to ancient these are words from my grandmothers, the times of long and long ago can be from far before the Europeans came here to Turtle Island.I am truly grateful for any helping, it is to learn from those who know that I came here as well as reading the beauty shared!

There are many forms of poetry,
just as there are many languages
from which we all
might learn.

Thank you, Dekanogi Ulogilv, for the very lovely, and deeply significant offerings you have blessed us with in the short time you have been here.  We shall be very honored to continue to read your poems, and to deepen our understanding of your ancestry.

You are one wise granny! ~ as are the traditions of your people! Children are the seeds of humanity's future and they should be nourished, and honoured, and treasured, and loved, and respected.

God bless you and all the children of the world!

Welcome to pipTalk! I can see that you will be a very valued member of our poetic family of kindred spirits!
