The echos of solitude beckon me
to walk down the grey halls of
silence and darkness.
Envelope me in your cloak of coal
your robes of emotions swirling black
with my melancholy.
The silence is deafening
the winds of darkness
chasing out all light.
Step by step,
one foot in front of the other,
I reach the threshold of your domain.
And enter
without a backward glance
not thinking of the others,
Just myself.
For once.
I will not pretend to be ok
for my solitude beckons too loudly
and persistantly.

I will not live
As though I'm not dead inside.

Oh, to get away...

knowing that it is at best,
temporary sanction.

It's good to see you again, little one.

Seems to me your shining light would dispell the blackest of dark

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Wonderful imagery!  It's amazing how sometimes we desparately need solitude, while soon our need will be to have someone to talk with..
