Visionary

Once, when light was stark
As snow, flakes of myself fell
Into the dark
Blown in shapeless cold
And silently, silently
hardened into inexplicable will
My pulseless soul inside the
Drifts...made numb

I heard in time
Set fire to the underbrush
By meters climb
A voice ignited flames
Intensity and purpose
And then, then
As if to touch me
His heart beat upon the page

Forming me like warm wax
within his hands

Stark-light snow

flakes of self

falling in darkness

silently, silently…

cold-hardened

Inexplicable will!

My pulseless soul

drifting numb…

Until I heard his heart…..

beating on the page

in meters climbing

voice-ignited flames

firing time’s underbrush

with intensity’s purpose

my soul reformed….

Warm wax in poet-hands!

Shaping me...

TD and Secondhand.....it's wonderful how words form connection between poets.  This was a beautiful one.

Excellent....but I think I will stay here
in the weather that is less harsh....You
can keep that...

You both have collaborated very nicely,
well done.

Actually as a most fine 'free association' poet of light [child or Aurora's sunrise] T.D. diserves all the credit here!...for the splendid image and message content!... I, of course, only applied the wordsmith-minimalist (word-economy) 'chisel'!

so very, very many of you grand talents in this lovely 'Passions' circle of friends are the 'real' poets!...not I !
