It's cold and dark, but
memories are still collectable,
dreams are ever visible,
my eyes are still reflectable.

Love's journey never ends,
it simply goes another road,
and I'm along for the ride,
taking joy in what's bestowed.

though right now i hate that road and am in favor of the grass that does neither to disaprove of me or draw me in with soft lies, i liked your poem.

Steve, I'm so glad you look for them. I do not have many here lately but enjoy posting when something comes to mind

Bruce, thank you! I'm happy this touched you.

Matthew, I have found that you must watch out for the grass too, since love rests there sometimes, either like a kitten...or a snake.

Roniece, I do thank you for reading...and leaving such a kind comment
