Listening to every heart

Temporary Plane

It seems almost impossible
to come into this season
of fading flash, (even while aware
my redbird will sing come brittle air)
without some ache, some
aortic heaviness,
some heft of breast
in needful sigh…

and my only string of thought is

that if here can be so beautiful
even given our losses…

what must heaven be holding
in store?

Then, in between shadowed light
when twi-dawn bleeds,
come long ago voices blending in harmony

it is then
these waking eyes graze
the grace of sky
and I wave my love
to those who still touch me
come the planes.

I almost copied the entire poem
trying to find my favourite lines.
But, the lines above touched me deeply,
and I thank you for sharing such an insightful write with us.

Heart hugs.

Autumn, the year's last loveliest smile~

Wonderful poem written in such touching language.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

The perfect time to see and hear harmony from here or there.

"that if here can be so beautiful
even given our losses…"

and it is beautiful Karilea
if you have been graced
with eyes to see it
eyes like yours

lovely...

Outstandingly beautiful language and creativity!

I have had these very thoughts too in some truly magical moments. Probably it's true that we cannot even begin to imagine what the upper spheres really are ...

Thank you for this, dear Karilea!

Love and hugs.

I am touched by this beyond words, but I must try, for that this plane is temporary is in my mind most every day, there are times when the 'losses' take their toll and I lose focus...this brings the focus back, sharp and clear, and oh so beautifully

that if here can be so beautiful
even given our losses…

what must heaven be holding
in store?

this is precious to my heart...sigh...but then I think you know that, for you read my heart with such clarity
thank you for this lady

I love the poem but the lines above are poetry on their own.

I love this.

Your heart does write such lovely poetry, Karilea!  Love the photo, too.

Yes, I imagine we've only been given a small taste of the vision beyond...

hugs,
