It is difficult
for me to suggest
what I most dearly want.

I would like a lot of things, it is true
Tuscan skies marred by dancing flame
and the troubles of yesteryear
left in the bottom of a bottle

A Tango in the rain perhaps?
I know a wonderful dancer
he has feathers on his feet
a fleet of feathers at his feet
which he employs
on any whim, with great delight
and we dance
until the sky's awash with
dewy morning light.

A billion grains of sand
I'll make my own beach, and Wave, well
he won't touch the shore
He is too polite for that.

I would like a meal of buttercup'd honey
to tease
and tease
and tease
entrance is forbidden
But you may politely watch.

I would like a great many things
darling heart
But what I want the most
Is to be Left Alone
