          Song of Scotland!

Oh Scotland!.....
loveliest land
of light-swept
lochs and keys
to my salvation.
Finest nation!....
transcendental talisman
for a tried
and tired Templar!....

Oh Caledonia!....
heathered home
of enchanted
hills and hopes
for my redemption.
Grandest contemplation!....
serendipitous song
for a sad and sorry soul....

Of castled crag and glen
and mountain mist,
mazarine mere,
and mystic moor....
I sing an awed reprise
to your indomitable spirit
reflecting....in her eyes!

You captured the radiance of her spirit within your words here.  Could almost smell the scent of her heady perfume, just before dawn...when the ruddy mists sing low across the moor.
Nicely done.

I was going to cast a knot
to tow in a favorite line...

I ended up
bringing it all back in here...

so a small thanks,
instead,
for this lovely gift.

Ah Lovely indeed.
I could almost see Brigadoon off in the misty moor.
Well done Bruce!
