keeping time standing
still in my head
the timekeepers hands
acheing, strianing to hold
time in my memory
to me the
two of you
never grew
what I would've done
if i had only knew
time begins now
to tick forward
no longer lost
in times silent accord

Gee, I for one, wouldn’t mind that you “replied” to your own ‘write’ [*grin!*]
..... I accidently ‘double posted’ a reply yesterday (woops!)

This poem, to me.... was the second (‘poetic-dejavu’) slice of everyone’s life kind of work I read today! (some typos?!.... but, I IMMEDIATE ‘imaged’ my two children.... BOTH of whom don’t seem to ‘need’ ‘ol dad around anymore!.... my 14 yr. old is 6ft-somethin’ already (he can almost pat ‘ol dad on the head in passin' these days!)....I’m especially gonna’ be thinkin’ ‘bout that last line a lot! Thank you for this interesting ‘write’!!
