Diamonds in the rough
I heard them say one day
A sacred heart
turning stone to gold

An anger seeping in
pure hearts turned black
bleeding for their fathers sake

Diamonds in the rough
or rubys
in the deep dark blue
remembering all the
things i never knew

and all that glitters

~ My favorite part of your poem. Enjoyed, and welcome to Pip!
