As we turn away in silent sincerity
He views us with a dreaded clarity

Staring at his screen in disparity
Each scene drags on for an eternity

As the actors change with regularity
In numbers approaching infinity

The scenes repeat with a rapidity
An understanding of what is reality

And sadly, he accepts his tragedy
As we turn away in secret sincerity
