I Still Miss Kansas

I still miss Kansas on a regular basis.
My brother will be here Friday at 10.
I'll be late at the office tonight.
Monday there's a courtroom I'll be in.

Sunday I'll have dinner with Kevin,
Tuesday, I will take my car at the shop,
this "to-do" list gets longer with every day,
it will be awhile before I can stop.

I call friends to see how they've been.
I know soon I won't remember the faces,
Life goes on here where I call home,
but I still miss Kansas on a regular basis.

As I understand, all you need to do to return to Kansas, is to wear ruby shoes and while clicking your heels together, say repeatedly "I want to go home!"

Home is where the heart is...
but Kansas isn't a bad vacation spot!

Awww Dixie this was touching , I have been away from Englad for 36 years and still get homesick at Christmas time
