unfortunately, it started in 11th grade.
struggling and stressin to make the right grades.
keeping them up so i could play soccer,
keep cheering the home team or clean out my locker.

next came the senior year
i got a 4.0, but what happens next year?
my cousin meets God, i like that he's there
cuz the hell on this earth is sometimes too hard to bare.
yes i hate it that his life was in someone elses hands, but everything happens for a reason, that, i guess i can understand.

well now comes real life, with that it recedes more.
my first real job, heart beats while walkin through the door.
im in a big warehouse makin huge signs.
i get chumped out of my license by my boss so i decline,
his offer to stay and work for him, he's out of his mind.

so of course comes more jobs and of course stress keeps comin.
and that sends this hairline runnin, back.
well there are more reasons, but do u have time to read of a million and one treasons?
well even if you did i dont want to write em.
im still livin it and my hair doesnt like em.

I love the title of your poem and I enjoyed reading the poem too.  You show a great sense of humor and -- I have been down the road you write about.  I hope to see more of your work.
