Deep in the heart

come nearer love’s flame
passion burns most brightly there
intensifying
all of the five known senses
giving rise to fabled sixth
~*~
see the faintest blush
caused initially by heat
ever deepening
resonating deep within
profound reverberation
~*~
this is not the end
resounding future awaits
demanding encore
replicating love’s echo
amplifying pinnacle

Ah, you old doctor, you...

I knew that poem
shouldn't be held
within a response...

it stands alone, it does...

but I'm glad mine put
some inspiration
under your saddle.
