Ravishing in Thought

13 March 2006

Could a word be found
the one that truly fits you
A stunner - a knockout
beauty ravishing in thought

Just to see your eyes smiling
to know on the inside your heart was true
Could it be beauty was a word
to reach out and describe you

As to a rose to a flower
the plush of a peach
Sweet to flavour in taste
this wonder in all your grace

The qualities that give
pleasure to the senses
Could a word be found
the one that truly fits you

"Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined."
Psalms 50: 2 KJV

sometimes people are so beautiful that we have to make up a word that isn't in the dictionary because there is no other word to fit them

she never thought she was beautiful, yet thinking of her, I wrote that.

and words can be like a smile, they can say so much.
