The Berlin Wall.
The Great Wall of China.
The Mexican-American Wall.

I hear feet stomping.
I feel goose bumps.
I hate walls.

Kacy,
So true. I much prefer fences.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

But my dear brother, fences ARE a form of walls.
Don't they know all we need is a 6 foot high six foot wide row of thorny roses, mixed with some of my wild thorny blackberry bushes, and a backup row of prickly cactus? Toss in a few hundred territorial peacocks and NO ONE will get through.
I guess you can tell I'm not in favor of 700+ miles of fencing or walls. I'm afraid we'll just end up with more tunnels, maybe more light planes landing on remote desert landing strips, or more dead bodies crammed inside cargo trucks, vans, and remodeled SUV's.
But walls and fences aren't the solution anyway.
