Blood-borne blessings
That run through to the fingertips of our enemies;
Those who we once called our own
The faithful reminder that we just can’t see
The dismal similarities between our steady breaths,
Our pulsating hearts
Our persisting pains
The lines in the palms of your sisters show reflections
Of the bridges we cross
That stretch to grasp the earth,
As single ties keep severing
And a common hate covers the forsaken footsteps
We have taken to reach the other side
The holy wars of your brothers haven’t settled your mind
So callous over the night
In which we lost the hope,
So that when the sky recedes to its impending doom
There will be nothing left to see but
Two hands that have finally acquainted
In the midst of our worldly reflections

I thought this was great--

you took the theme of unity, gone unrecongized, which has been expounded upon many times and more times than many in cliche' and gave it a thoughtful and vivid perspective which is both unique and yet universal.

Very impressive.

Thank you very much, you recognized exactly what I was trying to depict in my poem. Everyone should get get along; we're all brothers and sisters afterall
