Those That Advocate Amnesty

They say that Congress looked the other way
while 12 million illegals snuck across our borders.
I say throw those that advocate amnesty out of office,
its time for the errant Congress to restore this Country
to the principles of law and order.

Rule of Law

"Yet once we as a nation choose to ignore our keystone laws of sovereignty and citizenship, the entire ediface of a once unimpeachable legal system will collape.  We would then become no different from those nations whose citizens are now fleeing to our shores to escape the wages of lawlessness.  That worry is why Socrates, 2400 years ago, taught us that the deliberate violations of the rule of law would have been worse for ancient Athens even than losing its greatest philosopher"...Victor Davis Hanson-The Honolulu Advertiser on 6/15/2006

(sigh) Thank you ever so much, James, for offering such common sense to an issue that truly is far less complicated than political correctness makes it out to be! (sad sigh) I am not speaking for any groups like the Minutemen Project when I say that we are a nation of laws and if we are to retain our cultursl and national identity, we must crack down on the influences of illegal activity that has accelerated among our borders; I am speaking for common sense. The bottom line is, I wholeheartedly believe that we ARE the land of opportunity, a land of immigrants, and thus I 100% favor LEGAL immigration and highly respect all immigrants who are patient and enter this land of opportunity the legal way, and thus absolutely believe we must keep proper immigration at existing levels. However, there are millions who disrespect and can't accept that we are a nation of laws, and thus walk around the law and seize upon our basic services, which promotes inequality more than anything else, in that it robs or delays someone patiently waiting lawfully to become a citizen, and their opportunity to do so! (sad sigh) Both political parties have accomplished virtually nothing to tackle this issue, and I too believe passively allowing our elected officials to endorse amnesty will inevitably only continue to encourage this lawlessness in our nation, and should this happen, our land of opportunity will become a land of discombobulated principles! (sad sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Thank you passing shadows and Mistletoe Angel for the nice responses.
If I have to choose between amnesty and respecting our laws, I will choose respecting our laws and I will be voting for the representatives that respect and enforce our laws in this coming election...James
