sleep, sleep

Call it "night"
and say it is when
the sun does not shine.

I have witnessed night
The beautiful darkness

But cannot witness
a non-shining sun.

sleep, sleep

Moon and stars
reflect sun's shining,
within the waiting
for sun to shine.

sleep, sleep

Stars and moon declare
the shining, neverending...

witnessed only
upon awakening

Interesing how some things you only see when they are gone.

Not only do the sun, the moon, and the stars shine ~ so does your poetry!

Illuminating! Glowing! Stellar!
