Written for my Aunt... (song)
How Do I Ask

1st Verse

Let me take you by the hand
And, tell you where I've been
I lived our forever
Hung onto yesterday
Hmmm, I cried out in the pain...
Please rise me above, Oh God, she is loved
For her, let me sail, not drown, in the rain...

2nd Verse

Let me take you by the heart
Walk us down our road
When we were together
Each other we'd linger
Oh, gave into her holding me....
Let me fill her mind, Oh God, of the sacred kind
Of late night calls and I love you, Oh, so, endlessly...

Chorus

Just one more lifetime
One more day
Oh, how do I ask you
If she can stay?

Just more lifetime
One more night
Oh, how do I ask you
To spare a life?
( On my knees tonight)

3rd Verse

Let me take you from the storm
In a shelter all my own
I'm a breath away in prayer
Oh, do you remember?
Ooh, How you and I painted the sky
Now, it's blue over blue, Oh God, She's image of you
As the mountains, they moved before my eyes...

Chorus Again

Just one more lifetime
One more day
Oh, how do I ask you
If she can stay?

Just one more lifetime
One more night
Oh, how do I ask you
To spare a life?
( I'm on my knees tonight )

Bridge

Oh, will you tell me that wherever you go
You'll always sit at my edge of bed...
And, it's late night dreams on,
on my pillow....

Just one more lifetime
One more day.

(angel compassion hugs) Oh Saundra, this made me cry reading and has really choked me up just envisioning the grieving heart of a yearning parent! (wipes tear) My deepest thoughts, prayers and heart hugs are with you or whoever is enduring this precious loss, as this is an emotional experience I believe we all can relate to on certain levels! God Bless You, dearest friend, I'm so happy to read your wonderful words again, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Saundra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Talk about a smile on my face seeing your name here tonight. Poignant lyrics, but warm wonderful heartfelt words. So how are you and  your children, by the way? It's been an eternity since we chatted.
